How does the free trial work?

Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial (14 days if you signed up through another customer's referral link). You add a card at checkout; cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged. One trial per customer (account, email or card). During the trial, usage is capped at 10,000 calls; you can start your paid plan early from the dashboard to unlock the full allowance. Overage billing is not available during the trial.

What's included in the free plan?

1,000 calls in your first 30 days, then 125 calls a month, 1 request per second, a WebSocket preview (500 messages a month, 1 connection), and every data endpoint and league. No credit card, and the free plan never turns into a paid plan: at the limit, requests stop until next month unless you choose to upgrade or buy a top-up. Webhooks need a paid plan.

Can I buy extra calls on the free plan?

Yes. One-time top-up: 1,000 extra calls for $5 this month, up to twice a month; unused calls expire at month end; no subscription. Buy it from the usage meter in your dashboard; the calls count toward REST API and MCP requests for the rest of that calendar month (UTC). Need more than 2,000 extra calls a month? Starter is 10,000 calls for $29/month.

How does annual billing work?

Annual plans cost 10 months' price for 12 months (2 months free): Starter $290/year instead of $348, Growth $490 instead of $588, Pro $990 instead of $1,188, Scale $2,990 instead of $3,588. Annual plans stop at the plan limit; there are no overage charges.

What counts as a call?

Each successful REST request is one call. On Starter and Growth, WebSocket messages and webhook deliveries come out of the same monthly pool as REST calls. On Pro and Scale they have their own allowances. Your remaining quota is returned in meta.rateLimit on every response.

What happens if I exceed my limit?

On monthly paid plans, calls beyond your plan cost $2 per 1,000, capped at $25 per month by default. You can change the cap or set it to $0 anytime in your dashboard; once the cap is reached, requests are blocked until the next month. Free and annual plans stop at the plan limit; on the free plan you can buy a one-time top-up (1,000 calls for $5, up to 2 a month). You can also upgrade to a higher tier.

How fresh is the data?

Data is aggregated from public sources and is typically 20-30 seconds behind the live broadcast, a delay set by our upstream source; our pipeline adds about 1 second. There is no SLA. It is built for apps, alerts, fantasy, dashboards and bots, not for in-play betting or trading.

Yes. Upgrade anytime from your dashboard; your API key stays the same. Cancel anytime from the billing portal: you keep access until the end of the billing period, then move to the free plan.
